MOD – Mortar Fire Control

Project description

Fire-control software is a poor place for a long framework debate. The wider Army command-and-control programme needed a mortar trajectory prototype that calculated, displayed, and could be argued with.

We built that prototype in Visual Basic 6, deliberately, so the idea could be tried before anyone committed a larger stack. We were one part of a larger programme, not the prime contractor.
