MOD – Mortar Fire Control

Project description

Fire-control software is a poor place for a long framework debate. The wider Army command-and-control programme needed a mortar trajectory prototype that calculated, displayed, and could be argued with in the room.

We built that prototype in Visual Basic 6, deliberately, so the idea could be tried before anyone committed to a larger stack. We were one part of a larger programme working under the prime contractor.
