A new aircraft type on the ramp, a flight plan due, and three days to make the tool understand it
Project description
A new aircraft type was on the ramp and the flight-performance tool did not know it existed. Without that calculation there is no flight plan, and the plan was due.
In three days we moved the existing tool onto the new type and added an importer so Gama Aviation could load aerodrome data themselves from then on, instead of waiting on us for every airfield. The work was in Microsoft Access, C# and Visual Basic, and the best part of it is the bit they no longer need us for.
