RTI FPS: BACS hash not required from 2023–24
From the 2023–24 tax year HMRC no longer required a BACS hash on a Full Payment Submission.
HMRC confirmed that employers and agents were no longer required to supply the BACS hash (field 118) for 2023/24 onwards. Values still sent on that year’s schema were not processed, while earlier years continued to need the hash.
