The recorded flight path is in the wrong place

There is a small difference between the global coordinates used in Microsoft Flight Simulator and Google Earth. The offset is a matter of metres, which is invisible on a long route but noticeable if you want landings, approaches, or take-offs in detail, so calibrate first for those. Version 1.0 was freeware

The first public build was released as freeware so Flight Simulator users could say what worked. Later builds, through 1.9 in December 2017, stayed a small add-on, kept separate from the filing products.
